If I had One Last Day
Becca Volpert, In memory of Jet
If I had one last day
to tell you what's inside
I'd tell you that I'm sorry
For all the times I've lied
I'd tell you that I need you
To hold my hand today
I'd tell you that I love you
I'd ask you, please, to stay
You'd look at me and smile
The way you always would
And say "I'd love to stay,
If only I really could"
Then you'd laugh the way you did
Whenever I was blue
You'd wipe my tears and whisper softely,
"Don't cry, I love you too"
If I had one last day
I'd love you from the start
I'd stop hiding how I feel
I'd say what's in my heart
If I had one last day,
I'd say my last good-bye
and that even though you are far away,
In my heart, you'll never die.
My Brother
Amanda - Dedicated To My Brother Zackery
He saved my dad he saved himself both inches away from death
Even though it took alot of nagging on his breath
The words just flew out of his mouth " Buckle up, buckle up"
Until he heard the click he was not yet satisfied
But if not for him my father would of died
So in our lives we would have zero
If not for my brother Zack the big hero.
Cry Not My Friend
Becca Volpert - Age 19
When you wake up tomorrow and I am no where to be found
When you scream out my name to the emptiness around
When every beat inside your heart is skipping and unsure
Cry not my friend for I am here, inside your love so pure
When the waves that used to touch our feet have gone back out to sea
When everything you once held dear was lost when you lost me
When the sun that once lit up your face is setting far away
Cry not my Friend for time shall pass, but my love for you will stay
When age arrives and children play and pain creeps up on you
When loved ones show you happiness that your life never knew
When all of your expectations are met, no matter what the pain
Cry not my friend, for I am waiting to hold you once again
When beauty in your eyes turn gray and all of the rainbow, white
When strong undying hearts no longer feel an urge to fight
When winter snows become more pain than beauty in your heart
Cry not my friend, for I am here and we will never ever part
In Loving Memory of James William Byers
Sarah Davidson
God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So he put His arms around him
And whispered, "Come with Me.
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away.
Althought we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Breeze
Erika Hernandez
The breeze feels nice
the breeze is calm
Like touched by God
Under the sun
I see a flower...
as pretty as can be
I smile and I think I see
you looking at me
Now, you are in heaven
in the pretty blue sky
Now I know when the breeze feels nice
You are there with me
I Miss You Daddy

I awoke today and the void of you not being there
so overwhelmed me that I was in great loss without
your love around me Daddy.
Oh! Daddy what am I going to do now without you
here to guide me with all your words of wisdom
and hearing your loving voice that always healed
my heart and lifted my spirit with joy?
My pain is so indescribable Dear Daddy that I am
in shock to the point that I want to curl up into
a ball and do nothing but have sweet dreams of you
holding me in your arms and never letting go.
Rivers of tears will always be in my heart for you
Daddy and life will never be the same without you
my Dear Sweet Daddy. Oh! God help my pain and tell
my Daddy I miss him so.
Oh! my sweet darling daughter I am here with you
forever more looking down upon you from heaven
with many angels of joy that are guiding me even
closer to your heart than ever before.
Please don't cry my sweet loving daughter for I am
in paradise with God holding my hand out to you in
the winds that flow across your soul, can't you feel
and hear me sweetheart?
My sweet angelic daughter you need not hurt, for all I
feel now is peace, love and joy like I never have felt
before in the hands of God and with all the angels that
are protecting you for me.
My most dearest daughter, sleep with dreams of angels
by your side and smile with all your heart while you seek
me everyday in the heavens above, for I am sitting here by
the throne of God waiting until you're day of arrival to
once hold you in my arms again.

Do you know our pain?
Do you know our hearts are breaking?
Our childhood years with fun and games.
Our adult lives sometimes brought pain.
You were there when you were needed.
Your love for us was all we needed.
Now you're gone and we're still here.
We'll miss you more each passing year.
Our hearts are heavy filled with pain.
Life will never be the same.
We saw a rainbow bright and clear.
We hope that means you're staying near.
If we could have just one more day.
We'd tell you all we didn't say.
We'd tell you how we love you dear.
And how we wish that you were here.
And when our saddest days are done.
One day we'll look and see the sun.
Maybe see a bright blue sky.
A river gently flowing by.
Thoughts of you will ease our pain.
we'll remember you and smile again.
In loving memory of
Roger Oates.

Immortal Spirit

Beside me once more,
In peaceful silence,
Softer than a feather,
Cast adrift upon the breeze,
In memories,
Your spirit,
Immortal,
Returns.
